Lac du Flambeau Area Hiking Trails

Powell Trails - Passing by Spring Pond and Sherman Lake, this scenic, easy/beginner trail winds through an area logged off some years ago as well as through an area of Bird trails in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsinolder timber types. Groomed by the North Lakeland Discovery Center with equipment specific for the trail. Leashed pets allowed on this trail when there is no snow.(Click on the trail map for a printable map PDF 143KB.)

Length: Trail loops from 1.5, 2.0, 4.5 and 7 miles.
Location: From Manitowish Waters, turn west onto Powell Road (1/4 mile south of the Community Center) and follow 6.5 miles to the parking area.
